Power machines through a quantum frequency

Mekanism’s Quantum Entangloporters share Inventory frequencies. The mod’s quantum blocks plug into those same frequencies, with the same Public, Trusted and Private rules, so one frequency can power a whole base.

Set up a Mekanism Quantum Entangloporter on a frequency, as you would in Mekanism, and put energy into that frequency. The Receiver, the Chargepad and the miner below draw from that frequency’s energy buffer.

2. Stick a Quantum Energy Receiver on a machine

Section titled “2. Stick a Quantum Energy Receiver on a machine”
  1. With a Quantum Energy Receiver in hand, right-click any face of the machine to power: it sticks to that face like a plate.
  2. Right-click the Receiver, open the Frequency tab and link the frequency.
  3. It delivers automatically, up to its tier’s rate. It only moves energy, and never sends any back.
TierRate (Mekanism default)
Basic4,000 J/t
Advanced16,000 J/t
Elite64,000 J/t
Ultimate256,000 J/t

3. Charge your gear from the same frequency

Section titled “3. Charge your gear from the same frequency”

Place a Quantum Chargepad, right-click it, press Quantum and choose the frequency. Stand on it: every item you carry that holds energy and is not full charges in the same tick (when energy runs short, your worn armour comes first).

4. Power a miner, and send a refinery’s ingots

Section titled “4. Power a miner, and send a refinery’s ingots”

Place a Quantum Network Controller anywhere (it does not need to touch the network), pick the frequency and the Energy tab: it shows what goes in, what the frequency holds and what goes out, and which kinds of device take it. The Quantum Network Tablet is the same screen in your hand: put a Controller alone in the crafting grid to get one, and the Tablet alone to get the Controller back.
